ICT: Season 2

Image
Another quarter has passed and yet again, new knowledge has been acquired. This quarter’s topic was fun at most but sometimes also quite difficult, especially with all the rules and tags to keep in mind. In addition, we still continued posting blogs this quarter. I must admit, it is fun and fulfilling to see long we’ve been keeping this up.           As of the challenges and problems, well, there are already a lot of problems in the traditional face-to-face classes, so what more on modular distance learning? To name a few that I have personally encountered, is first and foremost, the slow, unstable and often no internet connection. This is really a pain in the ass because most of the activities require internet. Second, some lessons are hard to comprehend. At most, it takes me 2 to 3 times reading it before actually understanding. Third, some instructions are vague, unclear and at times misleading. This is ve...

A Day Full of Love

Image
Out of all the days in a year, there is this one special day wherein love is in the air and in the hearts of all. That day is Valentine’s Day. During this time, Families get together and spend time together, maybe even host a game night for everyone to enjoy. Friends, on the other hand, may celebrate through group hugs and road trips. Couples plan dates and surprises like romantic getaways, candlelit dinners, cocktails at the bar and whatever comes next. However, this year things are different. Amid the pandemic, people must look for other ways to enjoy and celebrate the day of love.           Every year, whatever the circumstances the world may be in, people celebrate this day by showing and giving love to the people they care most about. Valentine’s at home may seem boring but with a little creativity, it will sure be as good and memorable as before. It can be as simple as cooking for your family, wearing c...

Nature's Revenge

Image
I always remember the blue skies and clear waters, the breeze coming from tress and the lovely scenery given by blooming flowers. I remember all the nice and beautiful things that nature has bestowed upon us, humans. The environment constantly and continuously gives us countless benefits that we can't repay our entire life. There is no doubt that the environment has helped us and other living beings to flourish and grow for thousands of years. The forests and trees filter the air and absorb harmful gases. Plants purify water, reduce the chances of flood, the environment provides us enjoyment, inspiration and many more benefits that can greatly improve the quality of life.           Now, those nice and beautiful things that once filled the Earth, gone.
