A Day Full of Love

Out of all the days in a year, there is this one special day wherein love is in the air and in the hearts of all. That day is Valentine’s Day. During this time, Families get together and spend time together, maybe even host a game night for everyone to enjoy. Friends, on the other hand, may celebrate through group hugs and road trips. Couples plan dates and surprises like romantic getaways, candlelit dinners, cocktails at the bar and whatever comes next. However, this year things are different. Amid the pandemic, people must look for other ways to enjoy and celebrate the day of love.

Every year, whatever the circumstances the world may be in, people celebrate this day by showing and giving love to the people they care most about. Valentine’s at home may seem boring but with a little creativity, it will sure be as good and memorable as before. It can be as simple as cooking for your family, wearing cute matching outfits, greeting cards or video calls. After all, it’s not just about the material gifts, it’s about remembering and appreciating the people closest to your heart.

For the record, I have always been excited for Valentine’s day, not because I have a significant other to share it with but because of the thought of love in the hearts of all. Remember, Valentine’s is not just for couples, it is for everyone – family, friends and even yourself. Also a quick reminder that love may be in the air but the Coronavirus can be anywhere, so no to touchy feely and always keep your distance.
